On the 20th of September I went in a trip with my ED Graphic Design group and we went to Brighton to go to the art fair at the Brighton dome. At the art fair I got to explore a massive variety of techniques and processes by lots of different upcoming artists.
In the art fair there wa some interesting pieces an some of my favourites are the ones below, I don't know the artists but I like the style and the colours they used and I find them interesting to look at.
This piece is really interesting, it is a house with scaffolding around it and the artist colours them up to look really confusing but yet you can still make out the image I like this style as it is neat but out there and different to all other work u have seen.
These two pieces are by the same artist and they look like a kind of pop art theme and have layers to have a 3D effect, I really like this type of design and it has to be one of my favourite pieces from the fair.
This is a piece of stencil art graffiti that I found while walking around Brighton I like this as it manipulates the image in a way that it is two images in one and has a comical appeal to it at the same time, it is a piece that makes you look at it and try to understand it.
Whilst in Brighton we visited Jon Burgerman's shop called ink'd, it was a good experience and we got to see some of his work first hand, I like his type of art as it has a graffiti and graphic element to it and is really nice and complementing to look at. It has a childlike but professional look to it and I really like it.
Once we had finished visiting all the places we needed to we went to choccywoccydoodah which was a good experience as it is a famous cake making business and the cakes are really amazing to look at and I got to appreciate it in real life and not only on tv.
I would recommend everyone to go to see it and also to go to ink'd as they are both really good places to see and experience for yourself.
